What a fabulous workshop! An interesting mix of subjects and locations with plenty of time for taking photographs, Glen’s easy going nature made me feel at ease, he is an excellent teacher and all his advice was spot on for my level of photography. I would highly recommend this tour and I’m looking do another Lightstalkers tour in the future. Thank you Glen

This photo tour allowed me to meet some personally set objectives on key technical aspects as well as improving my level of confidence. This week was a great learning experience. Your professionalism at understanding the needs and providing appropriate examples and reacting to each participant was appreciated. The Photoshop session was an eye opener! Above all you kept it informal, fun and dynamic.
Pascale Dominique | Montreal - Canada
I really enjoyed the week. You probably know the Highlands like the palm of your hand, but your hand-picked locations were phenomenal. And I admire your commitment to getting us to “just one more location” before the day’s over. It seems as if nothing fazes you, and you roll with whatever the days bring. Invaluable in a tour leader. You found us great dinner spots, some of the best meals on our trip. The fact that you continuously shot yourself testified to the passion you still have for great photographs. That in itself was inspiring. And the best compliment of all… I hope I have the chance to do another Lightstalkers tour!
Richard Hudson | Minnesota – USA
This was my first photography tour I have done and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it definitely won’t be my last. I had a great time! Glen s really easy to get on with and provides an appropriate level of support when needed. The locations were fantastic and the accommodation was excellent. Overall a brilliant experience and highly recommended.

I tentatively went for this course but I needn’t have worried. As a beginner I found the content, the locations and the knowledge from Glen – “my saviour” just tailored to me needs. The camaraderie from my peers was reassuring as was the fact that many were people returning to Glen for further guidance and tuition on this and another tours. Like them too I would definitely return.

My third trip with Glen this time to Tuscany. Glen always finds the most fantastic locations and his help and assistance are generously given. I will be back again.
Mike Olney | Bedfordshire England
I came on this tour with an open mind, never having been on a photographic tour before. After my experiences with Glen and the other touring photographers I will be booking more photo tours going forward. Glen is very understanding, considerate and has a truck load of knowledge that he is happy to share to all. I would recommend Glen Campbell’s tours to anyone who is interested in getting to spots not visited by the masses and thank you for finding me those wonderful Highland cows. I think you have given us an outstanding time.
Maureen Carthy | Townsville – Australia
Thank you for a great and well organised tour. I booked the Wild West Highlander tour to get a taste of different parts of Scotland. Therefore I appreciated how the program was put together to take us to very different locations. the small group with 7 people worked well for me because there was always time to get individual tuition when needed. Looking forward to me next trip!

What a wonderful week chasing the light on Skye, Harris and Lewis. We both had the experience of a lifetime. You do a great job of keeping things organised and on track so we can literally focus on photographing spectacular scenes … you have already researched so carefully. Your flexibility in terms of changing weather and light was invaluable. I admired your steady and upbeat way of working with all of us, ready to sep in if needed for advise but holding back the we wanted to work on our own. Best of all we enjoyed your sense of humour under all kinds of conditions. We would highly recommend Lightstalker Adventures and we are already eager to go on another adventure.

I really enjoyed my first photo trip with Lightstalkers. Glen thought of everything from expert tuition and great locations to our safety and comfort in the face of diverse weather. The weekend was great fun and very relaxed, definitely a worthwhile experience.
Susan Macinnes | Scotland
The trip was well organised by Glen. Was able to capture great compositions and bring back the great landscapes photo tots that I had dreamed of since childhood. In Sort the locations, the lodgings the teachings are 10 out of 10!

“Glen blends his profound photographic experience, love for travel and adventure with great coaching insights which he shares at beautiful locations. His focus on the client experience combined with his sense of humour makes him an easy travel companion for any photographer who wants to learn while enjoying some of the worlds most beautiful locations. It’s no surprise that the other members of our group are repeat clients. I expect that will be the case with us aswell. ”

“The trip to Iceland was wonderful. From glaciers to mountains, waterfalls to beaches, there are amazing landscapes surrounding you at all times. It is impossible not to see the beauty in this country. Glen is a talented photographer, and he is fun, entertaining, and extremely helpful. I look forward to traveling with him again”

This is my third trip and again proved to be a well researched and enjoyable trip. Despite challenging weather conditions Glen offered patience and persistence to make sure we ended each day with something to show. Glen always seems to have a plan B if the weather turn which means you come away from your trip feeling you got the most out of your experience. See you in 2019!
John MCcaveny | Aberdeen Scotland
I arrived nervous and floundering with my wide (angle) compositions. I left entirely confident and fired up to do more. Glen is patient, and explains just what you need to know when you need to know it. His knowledge of locations and weather is priceless, and something that can only be built up with years of experience.
Emma Davies | England, UK
“I had a great experience to Skye on 21-26 Aug, 2017 with Glen and 5 other people coming from USA and Australia. Glen is knowledgeable in the locations where we can see Skye in her unique beauty. He is also very helpful all the way in giving appropriate assistance in the shooting set up. I would recommend his service to anyone who is interested in Skye”
Heidi Tam | Hong Kong
As always Glen’s trip exceeded my expectations. This is my 7th trip with Glen and I keep coming back because of the excellent locations, great camaraderie and Glen’s patience and boundless enthusiasm.
Beverley Scott | Scotland
It was amazing more than I could have asked for, very quick on the feet organising around the weather, great with technical assistance and a great guide to the history
Jeanne Catalano | Virginia, USA
This was a great short tour with a combination of iconic Scottish locations and great Scottish food. The weather was typically Scottish ie, changeable but it was kind to us providing a sense of drama to our images. As a returning customer my expectations were high and as usual Glen exceeded them. Glen had great knowledge and enthusiasm about our locations and an easy going personality and good camaraderie makes tours with him a delight, it’s why I keep going back for more.
David Cox | London England
“Thanks for the perfect combination of stunning views and an inclusive, fantastic group atmosphere with good laughs and good music. In addition, you are an excellent host and cook. All in all both a relaxing and adventurous photographic experience which was unforgettable”
Petra Lens | Holland
I really enjoyed seeing Scotland and meeting new people in this way. I appreciated that you were relaxed about getting started each day but still kept everything on track. It was a good mixture of necessary tourist stops and lesser frequented locations. All the locations were beautiful and the historical background you gave was much appreciated. I very much enjoyed all the meals, local beer and whisky and was glad we got to listen to some live traditional music. I liked your teaching style- clearly skillful but also easygoing and concise, and I’m a lot more comfortable using my camera and equipment now. Overall I had a great time!
Molly Principe | Texas, USA
Capture & Create was one of my favorite workshops, with my favorite tutor and participants :-). I would join another C&C workshop in another location. Thank you Glen for another great experience!
Sereina Meier | Zurich, Switzerland
It was a fantastic experience! You were a pro at keeping us as rain free as possible without missing all the great spots. Photographer, tutor, tour guide, driver, psychologist, meteorologist and so much more! All carried out with skill, warmth and a great sense of humour. Landscape photography was a daunting challenge and with what I learned I have now caught the bug to keep on shooting and learning! THANKS!
Jeannine Facht | Buenos Aires, Argentina
The entire workshop was fantastic, well organised and Glen was excellent due to his detailed knowledge of the area and very relaxed approach .
John and Jane Richardson | Jersey, Channel Islands
Another great Lightstalkers trip, if you want to improve your photography in some great locations with some fun and some fine single-malt whisky thrown in, this is the place to be !
Derek Melville | Manchester, England
As always a well thought out trip. Flexibility with locations based on weather conditions and a good amount of time spent at the best locations. The Faroes offers a spectacular range of photo opportunities. Accommodation was in a great location for travel and was comfortable. Highly recommend this trip

Overall great experience with good friends chasing the light and avoiding the rain..
Pall Jokull Petursson | Selfoss, Iceland
I liked the accommodation. The rooms were nice and cozy. It was a good mix of cooking and going out for dinner. It’s nice to stay in a house with the group. The Lofoten tour was overall a great experience, thank you Glen!
S Meier | Zurich Switzerland
What a stunning place, full of grandeur and packed full of history that I did not realise existed. From the mountains and passes around Falzarego to the largest alpine pastures there are plenty of opportunities and it’s sometimes hard to know where to point your camera. Thankfully Glen is there to steer you in the right direction. With gentle guidance and excellent knowledge Glen helps you get the most out of any location but in a way that allows you to put you own interpretation on the images you take. I have been on many trips with Glen and Lightstalkers and once you’ve been on a trip with him it’s easy to see why many return again and again.
David Cox | London UK
“Glen was a truly exceptional host – friendly, easy going and very attentive – an exceptional photographer himself, he was keen to share all his experience. I would definitely recommend Glen to anyone who is looking for support or develop their landscape photography”
David & Deborah | England, UK
Just back off the Capture & Create course in the Lakes. Loved every minute of it. Glen’s laid-back style makes you feel like you are on holiday straight away. He finds the best locations and coaches you through taking your best shot of it. It doesn’t matter whether you are a novice or have a bag full of kit and filters – everyone ends up with great photos. It’s fun to pile in the van and find out where you end up. In the Lakes, it was hard not to take amazing pictures. I found the early starts to catch the sunrise hard but standing on the edge of a lake at dawn just looking at it was as amazing as capturing it.
The processing part of the course was great as you were taught how to get the best out of your pictures. I’d recommend having photoshop to get the best out of this. We got to have our best shot printed which was a really nice touch; to have something tangible in this digital age.
I’d highly recommend Glen’s courses. You meet a group of strangers on the first day and say goodbye to friends. I came home and booked another straight away!
Kirsteen MacFadzeen | Leeds , UK
As always, this Canary Island trip didn’t disappoint! Put aside your thoughts of timeshare apartments and beer swilling beach go-ers, this trip takes in all the beauty that this volcanic island has to offer…from the majestic Mount Tiede to stunning crashing seascapes – glorious food and perfect post winter weather. Glen has researched to his normal high standards to put together a trip full of variety – with just the right amount of time spent travelling vs time on location.
Juliette Packham | London, UK
I had the opportunity to spend 2 ½ days with Glen from Lightstalkers one-on-one in Glencoe, Scotland. Although I considered myself a proficient photographer it was great to have Glen to advise, critique my approach, and composition. I now feel with his coaching I have greatly improved my photography. Glen is such a great guy to be with and he knows the Glencoe area really well so we got to visit some great locations. I would heartly recommend Glen and Lightstalkers and am looking forward to the possibility of another trip in the future.

I first attended the Scotland Grand Tour in August 2022. It was my first acqaintance with Glen and Scotland and I was hooked right from the start! So many amazing sceneries and gorgeous light! Glen knew all the right places and helped us get those iconic photos. He knew where it wouldn’t be crowded with the Selfie stick people so that was definitely a bonus. Scottish weather taught me how to shoot in the rain and provided dramatic skies . Wow! Next was the Winter Tour in January 2023. This was another great experience with once again fantastic sights and even red squirrels taken from a woodland hide! We also had a hike into some more snowy parts of the Cairngorms which was absolutely wonderful to shoot and to walk around in. Third tour is coming up and a fourth one is in the making! Glen himself is easy-going and a very kind and patient person. He makes sure everyone is comfortable and safe. If you want, he helps you get that shot by giving advice with regards to composition, camera settings and otherwise, which really taught me a lot. And, last but not least, he knows the best places where to eat! Be prepared, though: Once you have attended a tour, you want to come back again and again!

I had an amazing tour of Tasmania with Glen. A very relaxed trip with a wide variety of locations, from sandy beaches to rain forests and mountains. Tasmania is a hidden gem and worth the journey. I’m already looking forward to my next Lightstalkers Adventure
