Destination summary 

The Complete Outer Hebrides Photo Tour – I’ve done  several trips to the Hebrides over the years but on this epic adventure I’ll be combining the best of the northern and southern islands. A photographic journey from Vatersay in the Southern Hebrides to the Butt of Lewis at the archipelago’s most northerly point.

Exploring the Islands of Vatersay, Barra, Erisaky, South Uist, Benbecula, Grimsay, North Uist, Berneray, Harris and Lewis. All the iconic locations plus a few new ones.

Pick up will be in Glasgow or Oban (depending where your coming from) and drop off in the Highland Capital Inverness

After meet up in Glasgow our first ferry will depart from Oban to Barra. Once we’ve reached Lewis we will return to the mainland by ferry from Stornaway to Ullapool and the a short drive down to Inverness.

There are also options to fly to Barra from Glasgow and return from Stornaway also by air.

Accommodation

Your accommodation will be a mix of small private retreats, local hotels and a sole use Hostel with a mix of private and shared rooms on Lewis

All venues single occupancy* unless stated and subject to availability.

3 nights on Barra – 2 self contained holiday homes

2 nights North Uist – Temple View Hotel

3 night Isle of  Harris – Harris Hotel

*2 nights Isle of Lewis –  Grinneabhat Hostel for  our exclusive use on the Wild West coast.
